The Brief: Our client needed a custom bag made to suit two different sized rope ladders used in the marine industry.
The Challenge: The bag needed to be functional and user friendly, and able to house the rope ladder safely. It also needed to encourage two-person handling, as the rope ladder is quite heavy.
The Solution: We created a shaped bag to help hold the contents in shape, with sling-like handles for strength when the bag needs to be lifted. The handles are kept short to encourage one person on each side. A three-sided zip lets the bag sit flat while the rope ladder is rolled in, then zips up for easy transport. Custom logos were made so the bags are easy to identify.
