How It Works
1. Send us your design. Supply a DXF drawing, or send photos/sketches/dimensions and our CAD team will draw it up for you.
2. We quote your setup fee. Every job has a one-off setup fee to draw or fine-tune your DXF so it cuts cleanly — confirmed upfront in your quote.
3. We cut your parts. Charged per piece, per set, or per bed. Most clients supply their own material, but we can also offer an all-inclusive material-and-cut price.

Frequently Asked Questions
What materials can you cut on your CNC machine?
We regularly cut a variety of textiles. If you’re unsure whether your material is suitable, send us a sample or spec sheet and we’ll confirm before quoting.
Do I need to supply my own material?
Most clients supply their own material for cutting, but we can also offer an all-inclusive material-and-cut price if you’d prefer us to source it.
What file format do you need for cutting?
A DXF drawing is ideal. If you don’t have one, send us your design, dimensions or a rough sketch and our CAD team will draw it up as part of your setup fee.
What’s the maximum size you can cut?
Our Aeronaut CNC machine can cut pieces up to 3300mm wide by 4700mm long.
How is the cutting service priced?
There’s a one-off setup fee to draw or fine-tune your DXF, confirmed upfront in your quote. Cutting itself is then charged per piece, per set, or per bed depending on your job.
Do you ship cut parts Australia-wide?
Yes — like the rest of BDM’s products, cut parts can be shipped anywhere in Australia.
What is your typical turnaround time?
Turnaround depends on the complexity of the job, but you can generally expect anywhere from 2 or more business days.
