Joel is a director at BDM Leather & Canvas. He has been with the company since the year 2000 and holds his Cert III in Textile Fabrication. His attention to detail and quality ensures that BDM purchases the best Australian quality materials. Joel is the resident leather smith at BDM and looks after most of the leather work that comes through BDM’s doors. He enjoys using his expertise and experience in designing and developing new products and overcoming challenges.
Tiana is a director at BDM Leather & Canvas and oversees accounts, human resources and the smooth running of BDM. She has been with BDM for 13 years and during her time here she has helped grow the business with her knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of BDM. Tiana guarantees the best possible customer service for every client and ensures BDM does their best to continuously achieve an accommodating transaction.
Kathleen manages both manufacturing facilities at BDM. This incorporates a lot of multitasking. She looks after sales, freight, inventory, research & development and many other inquiries. With a long heritage in the textile industry, Kathleen has come to know the BDM world like few others. With over 6 years of experience, her technical knowledge will impress along with her friendly and helpful disposition.
Brooke has been working at BDM since 2016. She looks after administration as well as looking after the office staffs’ caffeine needs and intake. Her helpful and friendly presence will no doubt leave you at ease and confident that your enquiry will be dealt with to the best of her ability. Brooke helps Tiana with the bookkeeping and secretarial duties. We love having Brooke as part of our team.
Nida has been part of the BDM team since 2003. Nida has become the matriarch of the BDM family. She leads the team with expertise and over 40 years of industry experience, making nothing impossible for her to achieve. Her pride, precision and workmanship make her irreplaceable.
Michele is a valuable asset to the BDM Company. She has been with us since 2009. Michele has a great work ethic and applies herself to ensure the customer receives the best suitable and most reliable result. Michele has experience using all available machinery and products at BDM with confidence. When you come to discuss your needs with Michele you will find her to be helpful, enthusiastic and upbeat.
Heath is the newest member of the BDM team. He is a very versatile worker and helps everyone out with most projects. During his time here, he has increased his knowledge in the industry and has gained a solid foundation in which he can grow. We are excited to see Heath widen and develop his range of skills in the future.
Mandy has worked within our industry since 1983. She has spent the last 5 years working with us behind the scenes. We feel blessed to have her in our family here at BDM. We have all benefitted greatly from having Mandy as part of the team as one of our full-time members.
Carol started her journey in the industry here at BDM in 2008. Her kind and considerate nature is one of the reasons we all love working closely with her. She is happy to give any new task her best shot and to expand her skills.
Sue started working at BDM in 2003 as one of our machinists. Sue’s experience in the industry makes her a great asset to the company. She is always willing to lend a hand and get the job done. Sue is extremely versatile in her work and enjoys changing up her day by using a variety of machines. All the BDM team appreciates her time and energy.
Mary has been with us since 2010. She is a quiet and dedicated worker always making sure that every bag she does is done to the best of her ability. Mary is always willing to increase her knowledge and get to know more about the BDM world. We enjoy having her as part of the BDM team.
Enzo joined the BDM Family in 2010 as the companies first security officer. His prior role as a security guard for two children has given Enzo the right skills needed for the job. He spends most of the day sleeping, scabbing for food, following around his master and letting us know who he likes and dislikes. Enzo skills and smells are invaluable to the company.
